Giving Back Bearing
Where ground settlement, void formation or deterioration of sub-base material has caused a loss of bearing capacity beneath a foundation, slab or structure, pressure grouting can be used to restore that bearing capacity. This technique is used where traditional methods such as underpinning and piles are not possible.
By injecting carefully selected grouts under controlled pressure, we fill voids, consolidate loose material and re-establish the load-bearing characteristics of the ground. The result is a stable, strengthened substrate capable of supporting the overlying structure.
This technique is applicable beneath industrial floors, road and runway pavements, bridge abutments, retaining walls and building foundations where settlement or void formation has compromised structural integrity.
